Company Profile   Vivus is a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the development and commercialization of therapeutic drugs for underserved markets, including obesity and related morbidities, such as sleep apnea and diabetes and men's sexual health. Co.'s investigational drug pipeline includes two late-stage clinical investigational drug candidates: Qnexa for the treatment of obesity, diabetes and obstructive sleep apnea; and Avanafil the treatment of erectile dysfunction. In addition, Co. has licensed the rights to other investigational drug candidates to treat various diseases and medical conditions. Co. also sponsors early stage clinical trials at various research institutions.
